A division of UMD, Responder Fire  and Safety Products provides PPE, Equipment, Instrumentation, Specialty Products and Services for clients large and small. 

Our in house trainers and technicians work daily with clients to help review their on going plans, and operations, to ensure that they are complying with State and Federal regulations for the protection of their employees and the safe operations of their business. 

UMD / Responder FSP provides a wide variety of Personal Protective Equipment for your  employees, contractors and visitors. Our staff can assist your efforts  with the fit and selection of the proper PPE for your operations . With thousands of products available for safety, UMD can help you make practical and economical decisions to assist your program and it's success.

From Dosimeters and area monitors, from SCBA to Fire Axes, UMD/Responder and it's personnel offer equipment for general and specialty use. Our personnel can train  you on the proper use and upkeep as well as provide such services as repair, replacement and calibration.  We work closely with our manufacturing affiliates to ensure that they are involved with all issue encountered in our clients operations. 

Responder is constantly searching for the best technologies available for our clients. Many of these products are "niche" specialty products designed for very narrow applications. UMD testing and consulting capabilities often find new areas where current technology needs to be improved. It is through our own manufacturing, and that of our affiliate manufacturer's that we find solutions to those issues that are identified.
